Sue Maslin AO is one of Australia's most successful screen producers. Her feature is the smash hit The Dressmaker, one of Australia’s all time highest grossing films, winning five Australian Academy Awards.
Sue is committed to engaging and empowering audiences with ideas that matter. Her innovative rights management company, Film Art Media develops and distributes screen content including recent documentary titles, Brazen Hussies and The Search For The Palace Letters.
Sue has spent many years teaching and mentoring filmmakers in Australia and New Zealand and she has served as Adjunct Professor, School of Media & Communication, RMIT University since 2009.
Sue’s outstanding 35-year contribution to the Australian screen industry has been recognised in numerous ways and in 2019 Sue was appointed as an Officer (AO) of the Order of Australia for distinguished service to the Australian film industry as a producer, and through roles with professional bodies.
