College of Business and Law Student Ambassador program

Want to enhance your skills, build a professional network, and receive endorsements, while gaining valuable experiences? The Student Ambassadors program is the perfect opportunity for you!

The perks

  • You'll receive comprehensive training programs that cover the responsibilities, expectations, and best practices for student ambassadors.  
  • You'll gain the experiences and skills as a Student Ambassador will make you a standout candidate to prospective employers and graduate programs. 
  • You'll connect with both your peers and industry professionals, expanding your professional network and potential career opportunities. 
  • You'll receive a certificate of appreciation as acknowledgment of your contributions and additional recognition for outstanding performance e.g. LinkedIn endorsement (Student Spotlight series).

Responsibilities 

  • You'll support the CoBL Student Experience team at events (on-campus and online) and college activities, such as Orientation, Open Day, etc. 
  • You'll participate in student panels to share your university experience for future students and other relevant events. 
  • You'll act as a mentor for prospective and new students to foster a sense of belonging. 
  • You'll contribute regularly to our social media page and share the community with others. 
  • You'll assist with marketing initiatives by working closely with the Student Experience Team.   

Eligibility

  • You are current College of Business & Law student who have been studying for a minimum of one full semester. 
  • You have written, verbal and interpersonal abilities that are well-suited for collaborating with the Ambassador team and engaging with fellow students.  
  • You have the capability to effectively advocate for and represent the College of Business and Law in a positive manner, especially during major events such as Orientation and Open Day 
  • You are inclined to engage, form new connections, and enjoy the experience.  
  • Desirable: You have proven participation in and contributions to the RMIT community, school, or local community; WIL, peer mentoring, clubs and societies.
