Inspire RMIT students, give today

In 2007, during 120th anniversary celebrations, RMIT announced that it will spend more than $60 million on student scholarship by 2012. The 2008 RMIT Annual Appeal increased student opportunities based on equity, access, and academic achievement, with donations from Alumni, Staff and friends totalling $250,000.

Donors to the 2009 Annual Appeal are encouraged to consider giving to one of the following areas:

Student Equity and Access Scholarships

All donations will be directed to the General Scholarship Fund in the RMIT Foundation; these scholarships are distributed across the three Academic Colleges and TAFE.

RMIT SEEDS

Donations will provide funding to help students to gain life changing and transformational experiences while being involved in sustainable community capacity building projects in Australia and internationally.

To learn more about how these funding priorities make an impact on student life, read the stories below:

As an RMIT alumnus, staff member or existing donor, you are aware of the life-changing impact that a tertiary education gives. A donation of any amount is a powerful vote of confidence in a student’s ability and worth. All gifts contribute to students’ lives and their ability to enrich communities.

Please note 100% of your gift will go directly towards supporting student scholarships or the RMIT SEEDS project. There are no fees or administrative costs taken from gifts given to the RMIT Foundation. All gifts to the RMIT Foundation over $2.00 are tax deductible.
