The process below applies to all international students except those studying VCE. International students currently studying VCE please refer to the International VCE applicant web page for further details.

Step 1: Find a program

Step 2: Check entry requirements

  1. Check academic entry requirements
  2. Check the English language entry requirements
  3. Research applicants must identify a suitable research area of interest and a supervisor before lodging an application

Step 3: Complete an application

Please Note: You can apply directly to RMIT using the steps below or through a RMIT representative in your country.

  1. There are no application deadlines, however, students are encouraged to apply 3-4 months prior to the program commencement date. Offers are subject to availability of places.
  2. To ensure that your application is processed in a timely manner, all applicants must submit a complete set of supporting documents
  3. Complete either the electronic or paper based application form available below. Please do not complete both.

Please note: Standard applications generally take between three and five business days to process. The following applications may take up to two to three weeks to process:

  • research applications
  • applications requiring assessment of folios and
  • applications requiring credit exemptions.
