- Community partnerships and contributions
Whose records are held by RMIT Archives?
Our holdings relate to RMIT University (2002 onwards) and its predecessors, i.e. :
- Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (1960 – 1991)
- Melbourne Technical College (1934-1959)
- Working Men’s College (1887-1933)
We also hold records for merged institutes and colleges, including :
- Phillip Institute of Technology
- Preston Institute of Technology
- State College of Victoria (inc. Coburg Teacher’s College)
- Emily McPherson College (and College of Domestic Economy)
- Melbourne College of Printing and Graphic Arts
- Melbourne Institute of Textiles

Please send an email to archives@rmit.edu.au with the following information (where known):
- student name (as it was when you attended)
- student number
- program name and code
- course names and numbers (and year each course/subject was studied)
- your contact details
We will then scan and email back the course details for you.
