The afternoon forum shares ideas and research outcomes that celebrate the richness of Melbourne’s tailoring heritage and its diasporas. In this context diasporas refers not only to the dispersion or spread of people from their original homeland but also to the skills and traditions brought with these people. The student researches will present outcomes that include the tailored jacket, posters, films, maps and design journals.
Admission is free but limited places available so please book via RMIT Fashion with 'Immigration Museum' in the title of the email.
