RMIT has engaged in ongoing partnerships in China for over 25 years and is committed to partnering for the long-term.

Shanghai University of International Business and Economics (SUIBE)

In conjunction with RMIT University, the Shanghai University of International Business and Economics (SUIBE) offers a range of programs in international economy, logistics and trade, with staff competent in bilingual teaching.

SUIBE boasts a long history of business education and is the sole institution of higher education for international business in the East China region. RMIT is proud to have partnered with SUIBE since 1998, offering high-quality RMIT programs in international business, logistics and supply chain management.   

Teaching is carried out by both SUIBE and RMIT teachers in Shanghai and offers the following programs:

  • Diploma of Commerce 

  • Associate Degree in Business

  • Bachelor of Business (International Business) 

  • Bachelor of Business (Logistics and Supply Chain Management)

Collaborative Articulation Program

Collaborative Articulation Programs see RMIT deliver teaching into a partners pathway program with some students articulating to RMIT.  For these we have a registered joint program with China's Ministry of Education, with students who come to Australia obtaining an RMIT award and are enrolled with RMIT.

RMIT is proud to partner with three high-quality Collaborative Articulation Programs in the province of Jiangsu: 

  • From 2013 in Xuzhou, with the China University of Mining and Technology, educating over 280 students to date. 
  • From 2013 In Nanjing, with the Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics and, 
  • From 2014 in Nanjing, with the Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine, educating over 450 and 400 students respectively.
